SHE’S A STAR

First released 1997

She's A Star is described by Tim as being about "a woman coming out into her power" and was Tim's first song written from the viewpoint of a woman, having tried to sing the song as I, you and he, before settling on She's A Star.

As James first release for three years, it hit Number 9 on its release as a single in February 1997 and was used as the theme tune to a TV drama and later as the backing music to a television campaign advertising the Midland Bank's name change to HSBC.
